ABOUT NORTHERN CONSTRUCTION SUPPLIES

Owner Lance Allard has worked in the industry for more than 20 years. In 2021, he started Northern Construction Supplies. 

Utilizing a half-acre of land, a truck, and a trailer, Lance supplies heavy highway road construction materials to contractors for Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) projects. The firm also supplies local contractors with construction supplies.  

Construction supplies the firm offers includes water lines, sewer lines, geofabrics, geogrid, rebar, dowel bar, and other products commonly used for DOT projects. Lance works with contractors to help determine the quantities of construction supplies needed, so contractors' bids are more accurately priced. 

Northern Construction Supplies is a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in North Dakota, Montana, and South Dakota and is currently bidding for 2024 in those states. The company has worked on NDDOT projects including:

• University of North Dakota: geofabric and geogrid

• Drayton, ND: geofabric and geogrid
